The British Fashion Council’s shortlist offers plenty to explore before November’s ceremony.

The British Fashion Council announced its 2026 Fashion Awards nominees on September 16. The ceremony is scheduled for November 30 at London’s Royal Albert Hall; winners in the announced categories will be revealed that evening.
The Designer of the Year shortlist includes Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row, Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford, Matthieu Blazy for Chanel, Michael Rider for Celine and Sarah Burton for Givenchy.
Our club assignment: choose two of those houses and look at their recent collections side by side. What catches your eye first: the silhouette, the colour or the styling? You can be curious about a collection without wanting to buy it.
These are nominations, not results. The official announcement below contains the other categories and the full shortlist. We will leave the winner predictions to your group chat.
